Here are remixed files to build this barn door tracker with much cheaper stepper motor. (under 3$ shipped with driver, add arduino for 2$ and done)
The 28BYJ-48
...Zeig mehr 5volt stepper. This has plenty of power for this application and works well.
I added mounting holes and left Nema17 holes intact aswell, so It's universal.
Other pieces you can get from the original creator, shown in the left menu under "remixed from".
I also added modified small gear model since 28BYJ-48 has a different shaft. This is for the common version that has 5mm large diameter and too flat sides. Hence the two holes for 3mm bolt and nut. This way it's more perfectly centered than bolting from one side, since plastic has some give in it.
I added the arduino code .ino file too. This uses the appropriately named Cheapstepper library that you need to add to your arduino ide before uploading or else it doesnt compile.
Is ment to be used with the default driver that comes with those cheapies, can be seen on picture. Play with the delay number in the code to get your timing right.
