We know that your privacy is important to you, so it's important to us to keep it safe. This Privacy Policy is intended to assist you in making informed decisions when using our Site and any Services provided through it.

What Information Do We Collect and Why?

Treatstock Inc., its partners, and its affiliates, requires users to provide us with your personal data such as your name, user ID, address, city, state, postal code, telephone number, IP address, and email address in order to provide you with the Treatstock services. When you register on the Site, we ask for your name and email address in order to create an account for you. When you place an order, we will ask for your delivery address to be able to fulfill your order. Your email address or profile image will be used or to enable you to communicate with other users of the Site. 

Treatstock does not read messages between users, except when a dispute is opened for an order. When a dispute is opened for an order, the Treatstock dispute team will be able to read the dialog between the customer and the manufacturer for that particular order to help facilitate a resolution.

We also use your information to communicate with you about our services. You may periodically receive emails and other communications from us relating to your account. You must opt-in to receive commercial communications and may always opt out of receiving future commercial communications at any time in your user profile page. Also, we track the basic use of our Site (performance measurement) in order to make the Site better for our visitors and accommodate it to their needs. This is strictly statistical data about browsing actions and patterns and does not identify you as an individual.

In your profile, you can also upload your profile image. Please be advised that your username and profile image will be displayed to the other users on our Website. If you do not want your personal information or photo to be visible to other users of the website, do not upload such information or photo to your profile. You can delete or modify the contents of your profile at any time or select an anonymous image for your comments on the site. You have a choice to disclose details about yourself, such as your profile, pictures and name on the Site. We are not responsible for any personal data you choose to use, as any personal data you share can be read.

If you sign up to be a supplier on Treatstock, which involves publishing 3D models as the Author, products, 3D printing services, CNC machining services, or any other service as a Manufacturer, Treatstock needs to know your citizenship, country of residence, and tax status, for tax reporting and for tax withholding purposes on royalties or business income as prescribed in US code cases. Particularly, Treatstock asks that you fill out necessary information for the forms W-8 or W-9, and specify the details for the withdrawal, such as PayPal email.


We maintain the highest standards of security according to best practices such as firewall user access controls, and secure socket layer (SSL) technology; however the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Any transmission of Information from you to us is at your own risk, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Information We Share

We do not sell, rent or license your personal data to third parties. However, please be informed that we may share your personal data with other businesses (our service providers) for example to enable them to provide their services to us or to you (for instance handling your orders). We require these service providers to protect your personal data adequately. You should be advised that these service providers may be located around the world, therefore you acknowledge that your personal information may be transferred from your home country to third parties located around the world.

We do not collect financial information, as that information is collected and stored by our third party payment processors. However, we may from time to time request and receive some of your financial information from our payment processor for the purposes of completing transactions you have initiated through the Services, protecting against or identify possible fraudulent transactions, and otherwise as needed to manage our business. In some cases, we may choose to buy or sell assets. In these types of transactions, user information is typically one of the transferred business assets. Moreover, if we, or substantially all of our assets, were acquired, or if we go out of business or enter bankruptcy, user information would be one of the assets that is transferred or acquired by a third party. Right to be Forgotten

To erase all your personal data, you should delete your account. Please note that after you delete your account, you will no longer be able to open a dispute or request a refund. If you have machines, provide services or have listed products, they will also be removed.
