Hi, thanks for visiting! This model is intended to be used to test poses and color schemes for your Tau army; it is not meant to replicate or replace GW
...Zeig mehr merchandise in any way.
Assembly notes: Some complex parts are intended to be printed in two pieces and assembled back-to-back. Most of these have been modeled with nominal 1/16" diameter dowel slots. Get yourself some 1/16" tube stock styrene from a hobby shop, or alternately print up some alignment dowels yourself! Cut the tubes roughly to length, glue in one side, and then glue the facing side flat around the dowels.
In addition, if you want to make a triumphantly leaping/flying build, then pick up some 1/16" diameter fiberglass rods (I bought mine from makermaterialsupply on ebay). Mirror and/or print the appropriate foot/ankle pieces with pre-made reinforcing holes... Run one rod continuously through your base scenery (I found that "Dreadnought Wreck for 28mm Gaming" by rbross worked extremely well), and then through the foot & ankle assembly.
Recommended for added strength: pick a pose and then drill a 1/16" dia. hole up into the shin from the ankle; feed the fiberglass rod up into that, too.
FYI the antenna fits into a groove in the back of the upper torso.
Good luck, happy printing!
