U.S. Rigging's line of HIT Tools Wire Rope and Cable Grips are designed with the latest technology to maintain the finest performance. These wire rope grips feature a trigger which allows for smooth, one-handed operation. These specially crafted come along clamps can be used on the following range of cables:
Also known as pork chops, they are generally used in the power, communications, and general construction fields to pull wire and cable. It should be noted that these grips are to be used for pulling up lines to tension only and not to be used as anchors. These cable grips are made from forged alloy steel--making them not only durable but also extremely lightweight. The yellow chromate finish safeguards the grips from rust and corrosion.
The easy-to-use construction allows the user to pull the trigger with one hand. This allows the grip to open effortlessly and instantly releases; making removal and insertion of wire quick and easy. The jaw is applicable for large, aggressive and fine teeth for several applications.
The larger P-16-TG47 model is constructed with a patented twist grip that prevents distortion of the cable.
Warning:
Do not exceed rated capacity and always match proper size and type of grip to application. Before each use, make sure to clean the jaw area and inspect grip for proper operation to avoid slippage.
